Soo…does that mean you were scared of competition? Doesnt sound like that to me. Sounds like you went to a situation that was best for you. Same with a ton of guys. I highly doubt you were scared to compete, I know I wasnt either. But OSU had a guy named Ryan Budde. So I chose to go somewhere else. It wasnt a fear of him or an unwillingness to compete.
They both can be the same answer. You can know that the effort you will put in will only get you so far, and sometimes the juice isn’t worth the squeeze.
competing I love, but having realistic mindset and a desire to long jump (can be both). None of these decisions are done in a vacuum.
like my original post stated, this generation wants immediate gratification without any sacrifice and is soft when it comes to competing and earning what you deserve.
