It looks as if OSU’s bulldozing rookie is going to return for his sophomore season.
Thats his second post. I hope thats a good sign.
He is in line as the starter so i dnt see why he would leave.
Me too. I wanna see that 1 2 punch with him and Richardson. I think both have a bunch of potential. I love a solid run game if we can get it going. I don’t like how we’ve been using the vertical pass game to open up the run game.
I’m just amazed that he’s willing to stick with the chitty offensive line he got to experience this season in the little time he was allowed in the game. Unless…….he perhaps knows he’s getting a solid OL now?
In general, while not turning away from rewarding loyalty completely, Gundy needs to lessen that priority. Sanders or CornDog, Cate or Weeden, Richardson or Gordon… all examples of when the most talent was left on the bench. While Dominic is talented as is the A&M transfer Jackson, neither is dynamic. Both are simply hard runners to contact with little elusiveness. Gordon is the pick of that ‘litter’ by far!!
While all will be missed, Cobb is the only notable loss to the portal thus far for my money. I regret losing Presley, but in the fashion that he is leaving, good riddance. It is time to move on from Sanders regardless as he is ready for a change as well. Wish all of them well, and success at their next stops unless playing us.
GO POKES!!

Don’t listen to fake news! Running style similar to King Henry who loves that spin move. He has been patiently waiting now it’s up to him on how it unfolds. Thank you for sticking to your guns! Pistols firing
Your write about rewarding loyalty over who’s the best player.
Well it is a team sport so loyalty is really a key ingredient. Sum of the parts and all that.
Jeff and a few confuse seniority and loyalty as a bad thing. We roled the first 7 games with seniority and loyalty, then the last 5 games were full of that untapped talent gundy has refused to use.
I dont mind people saying things, but they do need to keep to facts.
Yes, in a way. But my intent was to say that more emphasis needs to be placed on getting the best players on the field, with an eye on loyalty. We already know that the majority of players in this NIL/portal age are only going to be loyal to a point, but will ‘enter the portal’ readily.
I do love to be a fan of college football. It is hard to accept that it is slowly beginning to deteriorate into a ‘non-amateur’ abyss. jmho… GO POKES!!
