Taylor with the wild talk about love handles. :joy: Vega is really difficult to take down obviously, might be the most flexible wrestler I’ve ever seen, and why I call him Gumby. Jax is crazy flexible also.

Anyway, the kid’s got cojones to move up to a stacked weight class, but he can do it again!

Hope he does well up there. The field is stacked. People will have scouted him too. Last year he surprised lots of folks.

I’m hoping Sergio sees the benefits a lot of wrestlers get from moving up from a weight they were constantly cutting to stay: more offensive energy. Think about Dustin Plott’s move from 174 to 184. Plott’s gas tank expanded and he really got to work on takedowns and punishing opponents on top. I think people might be surprised AGAIN by Sergio this year but this time by his offensive output. And by the way, for haters who acted like he did NOTHING but counter wrestle, Sergio attempted multiple takedowns each match as he got better at managing the weight. He literally shot more than Mendez did in their championship match. I just think he’s going to be able to finish some more this season and look more like he did in high school. GO SERGIO
