Seven Takeaways from Oklahoma State's First Depth Chart of the 2025 Season

On the ORs and other things that stood out.

Nitpicking, I saw our back-up LT is 271 lbs…

Two TEs?!? Perhaps that means a lot of 2 TEs sets this year?

Maybe just a bunch penalties for having 12 men on the field…

Will we actually throw passes to them? Or will they end up transferring like Jelani Woods so somebody recognizes and doesn’t misuse their talent?

Am I the only one who looks at this and finds it weird that the same guy who waxes poetically about the toughness of the old days and about tough love doesn’t have enough of a backbone to tell his own players the truth about where they stand on the depth chart?

If JK Johnson is as fast as they say, why isn’t he one of the KRs? We’ve had several good CB return men in the past.

Seniority at OSU over actual talent.

To be fair, there is more to being a good returner than just being fast.

Really? You can’t seriously believe that the depth chart is the primary communication tool for player evaluation. If anything the depth chart is probably more of an obfuscation tool to keep opponents off balance than anything else.

To keep who off balance UT- Martin? :joy: it’s just old dementia gundy that has problems making decisions. The man has something wrong with his brain. Been seeing signs of this for awhile know.

Wow! The depth chart is an obfuscation tool to keep opponents off balance! I have never heard that before - very insightful Big Bruce - please elaborate and tell us more.
