If it’s not a scheme or concept issue. Then he obviously has a recruiting issue. Which, by most of us here, aren’t surprised given his recruiting has never been that great. Which is why we most likely still only have one conference title in 20 years.

Still has offensive line issues. This guy should’ve been fired along time ago for this reason only. He can’t recruit and is always a disappointment when fielding a veteran team. He’s a fired coach walking.

Scary thought: If we weren’t physical enough against an squad made up of FCS level talent (Gundy’s words, not mine), how are we suddenly going to become physical enough to handle any of our opponents, as every single one of them will be more talented than who we just played.

Interesting question: Gundy probably gets fired after 2015 if Bob Stoops declines the penalty and doesn’t kick it to Tyreek again. How many would go back in time and give up that famous Bedlam win in order to reset OSU football? Since that game, we’ve had a whole lot of ‘also ran’ bowl games, 2 title game losses, and one 0-fer-conference season.

Answer is we are not. After watching some other B12 teams play this weekend and last night I am worried how our talent/physicality is going to measure up to B12 teams. The defense seems to be closer to being able to compete, the offense is what I am worried about.

First off, OSU went 10-3 “after 15”. The season you are talking about is 2014. ZERO chance that Gundy wouldve gotten fired after that year. What in the world are you basing that off of?? Most of the stuff that people hate about Gundy wasnt much of a thing back ten years ago. Thats absurd.

We won’t. We’ll just go 0-9 in the conference again, and then HOPEFULLY Gundy will be on his way out. Resting his head at night that he’s destroyed what he built for the foreseeable future. Being paid millions to do so.

As I’ve said before. I think he most likely goes down the Gary Patterson route before hoisting a conference trophy over his head again. Happened to Mack Brown, Bill Snyder, Gary Patterson, and etc. They were good for a time, and then it was over. This will happen to Gundy. I wish he could prove me wrong, but he doesn’t.

Ketchup, you clearly don’t remember history. Maybe it was ‘14. The year of Tyreek’s return, OSU was 5-6 and there was significant talk about Gundy being fired. That return saved Bedlam and kept OSU’s bowl streak alive and enthused the fan/donor base, like nothing but a Bedlam win will do.
