Appreciate that the players are still doing interviews. Never easy to do after a loss. Glad their media training has kicked in and there isn’t a bunch of public finger pointing and blaming. Really enjoyed Stribling’s interview.
I’ve watched Gundy’s presser a few times now. I’m glad that he is still committed to pushing and learning. That said, the line that still makes my head hurt is “Scheme wise, we’re fine”. I also dont love that he is seemingly happy that we rushed 4 y/c. Yes, it is improvement… But shouldnt have stopped it… Ollie bulldozed a guy, but then we shifted away from the run. Don’t tell me that one additional defender makes such a difference. If it was that big of deal, we would have been effective in the pass.
Anyways, Go Pokes. Hope to see some fire in his lunch presser today.
