A look at some of Saturday’s competition.
For me, the worst losses are those that have the most on the line. My top 3 would be:
- Iowa State 2011: Win that game and not only would you go be the Big 12 champion, you would’ve been facing LSU for the national title.
- Bedlam 2013: Win that game and you’re the Big 12 champ and going to a BCS bowl game for the 2nd time in 3 years.
- Big 12 Championship 2021: You win you’re 2nd Big 12 title and there’s a possibility of sneaking into the CFP.
Gundy needs to be fired before he torpedoes 2 decades and 700 million dollars worth of donations. This team will be devoid of talent by the first day of 2024 when the portal opens in December. Quite frankly I wouldn’t be surprised if we see our better players take their redshirt year if still available to save their eligibility for a new team. Throw the bag at Duke’s staff it’s not like we can’t afford to pay up. Gundy, Dunn, and Dickey are getting 10 million dollars a year just between them.
That may be one of the worst loses to date but there’s a lot of season left. I myself can’t wait for Bedlam.
