Exactly! It becomes too much money. And, it brings up all of these kids committing to one school, then flipping to another, just because they can get more money. On their end, I get it. But, on the other hand, stick to your word. Find the place that you want to be at, not the place that you’re going to leave after a year.

We wouldn’t be seeing all of these transfers and dealing with the portal as much if there was a cap on what they can make. Again, just my opinion. The rules and regulations should’ve been put in place way before the NIL was allowed to happen. It is the same as what Oklahoma did with the marijuana laws (or lack thereof). Pass the bill to get it done, then try and catch up with the laws and licenses and fees after the fact. Dumb.

Its interesting. I get the “stick to your word”. How many non-entrepreneurs on this board have never quit their current job to get paid more somewhere else? So why do we begrudge 18 year olds doing exactly that, when basically everyone one of us have done the exact same thing in our own professional career.
