Got in on Google Play Music day 1 for $7.99 and have stuck with it ever since. Now using YouTube Music since they’re phasing out GPM.
ah, I knew I’d leave out something!
The best part is it also gives YouTube Premium so no ads on YouTube.
I consider that streaming.
My “other” vote was for YouTube music. Use it at the office a lot.
Indeed. I actually like it better than Spotify in some respects, but the no ads on regular Youtube is a really killer feature.
I find it hard to listen to stuff with words when I’m working, so I have some instrumental jam stuff I plow through.
When I drive it’s podcasts, but the only thing that keeps me less productive at work than podcasts is PFB.
Movie scores are great to listen to while working. The Social Network is the best when you really need to plow through stuff.
I can do okay with music with words in the background, but I definitely cannot listen to podcasts. I like running and mowing with podcasts.
Words help me focus and block out distractions but I usually only have one ear bud in at a time. If I really need to hammer through something or it gets too loud in the office, two ear buds go in.
You Tube premium is the best in my opinion. It allows you to make your own playlists (doesn’t force you to listen to stuff you don’t care to hear) If you have some good quality bluetooth speakers and/or headphones, or in your automobile, you can listen to anything your heart desires … and I listen to way more music than the average person!
Music can be a great distraction from some of the worries of today, but don’t let it be so much so that you shirk more important responsibilites – so says my wife!!
On repeat. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=rvrZJ5C_Nwg
This is the only option.
Oh wow, that’s…something. Oh, there’s still 4 more minutes. Oh my, it just got crazy!
If I have thinking work, nothing in the ears. If I’m doing menial work, podcasts or the Libby app to pillow through some audiobooks. Listening to a Napoleon bio now.
This is what I think of from this song.
What on earth am I watching?!?
“Christianity! Islam! Judaism!”
Am I just like 3 years late to this? Was this a big thing 3 years ago?
Andrew Roberts one?
You got it. Want to follow up with David Chandler and maybe Talleyrand by Duff Cooper. Napoleon is fascinating and I know nothing about him. Lol.
It was pretty interesting. Biographies outside of the anglosphere and that old are tough for me to keep everyone straight in.
