I’m not sure what you call a “good season” but TCU has finished in the top 10 three times since joining the Big 12. OSU has not finished in the top 10 over the same period. TCU’s lows are lower, but the highs are higher too. If I were to guess who was going to bounce back higher between OSU and TCU, I’d guess TCU because history says they will.
That’s a pretty good take. I’ve always felt like Gundy’s team performed the below what they’re capable of against coaches he really respects; like Patterson, Snyder, Stoops, even if OSU has the better team.
