Wouldnāt that just kill the NCAA?! A āsmall marketā program crashing the revenue party?! I am all for it as long as it is us.
Hey, if things go the way fans want them to, itāll be a 20-21 season no matter when the season starts.
Thatās fair. I ignored that bc 70% of revenue that is from contributions/media rights.
Regarding media rights: For simplicity, I kept the same logic as football media rights - more people at home, more people watching, stable revenue. If anything, Iād expect a slight increase right here from the Big 12 Now/ESPN+ package kicking in.
Regarding contributions: I excluded this from football revenue due to personal experiences. As a student, I worked at the OSU Foundation and the General Athletics fund was one of the most common donations. 99.9% of the time a donor would comment something along the lines of - āThe football team has enough money already, let the university decide where the money is needed most.ā
