2026 Edge Rusher Jaylen Stewart Flips from OSU to Illinois

Hey champ,

This is what I meant. No, I can’t convince you because you are predisposed to believe the worst. I don’t think any of those four guys were going to make it after the season. Of the four, I’d have given Nardo the best shot to stay (maybe 25%) simply because it was only his what? Second year and he had some bad injuries, but even still, I don’t think he would’ve lasted the offseason.

You said “way below”. I proved it wasn’t. Also, I was never asked to post our current winning percentage. As it has nothing to do with when each coach first started. Please use your brain. So that way I don’t have to show you how to properly use it.

That literally has nothing to do with the main point of the subject. The main point was that Campbell took over a program that had a worse winning percentage (44% to be exact) and didn’t have a billionaire alum to help out (another fact).

Matt hasn’t been at Iowa State for 20 year neither. If we want to play that game though. There’s been two program still in the conference that have changed coaches and still won more than one conference title (Baylor and K State). Are those two programs unstoppable blue bloods? Or do we need to find an excuse for why they were able to do it, and Gundy couldn’t? Since we want to go by your metric of wins. Matt has more conference wins than Gundy since 2018.

Google sports-reference and go look for yourself. I’m not doing all your research for you.

Yet I’ve not made one false statement so far, and I sometimes cite my reference :man_shrugging:.

You stated you know football more than me. Then tell me why you aren’t making 5 million per year? I’ve never claimed to know more than anyone on here (like you have). I just pay attention to what’s going on and specialize in psychology. I can sense when someone is bs*** and when they aren’t.

I’m not believing the worst. I’m looking at the evidence. This is the most compelling evidence you’ve given me:

  • A guy that only had one top 50 offense in five seasons

  • Offense went from 35 ppg to 13 ppg in 2022.

  • A guy that was largely inconsistent with slow first half seasons, slow first halves, and road off the coast tails of Jim Knowles in 2021

  • A guy that helped us lose the conference title in 2021

  • A guy that obviously showed in 2024 he was more of a problem to our offense than a solution

  • Scored 10 total points against USA and UCF

About the only thing I can say about him is that he is one of the few coordinators that beat OU twice. Then had a great second half against ND. Outside of that. There’s no reason he should’ve been here for that long.

Tajh Overton, the Owasso DL may be in the Cowboys crosshairs. OSU is making an NIL push that OU wouldnt.
