Recruiting in the 50’s doesn’t win the conference. Using the same play book for 12 years doesn’t win the conference. Hiring unknown unqualified coordinators doesn’t win the conference.

I’m glad to know that you can perceive what my mind is thinking, and refuse to acknowledge the four star recruits I’ve positively commented on. Not to mention the positive comments I’ve made on some of the P4 or better G5 players we’ve gotten in the transfer portal.
So yes, I’m fairly critical when we can’t sustain our high school recruitment to a top 25 level for a program that’s “top ten in wins” since 2015 
. I’m a little critical of our recruitment since it’s averaged 38th or so since 2011. If you refuse to hire proven coaching, and continue to recruit like that with minimal efforts in the transfer portal. Then continue to expect to have less conference wins than Iowa State over the last 7 years, and don’t expect to win the conference.
Maybe that changes this year. I’m not exactly sure. However, I’ve seen no historical data since 2011 that proven it to be otherwise. If you don’t like facts it’s not really my problem.

Illinois doesn’t have much more than us so something changed his mind, you can’t ever predict an 18 year old kid anyway. Don’t have a clue what the upside of him is but his ranking is an average 3 star

Trust me I know more about football than you Joe , it’s not always 4 stars that determine who wins. Team chemistry is critical. At least get something new to biotch about
Sometimes it’s coaching. Some coaches are known for winning big games for titles and against their rivals. Then some coaches are known for some stupid haircut.
