I’ve fielded a lot of questions over the past few years about whether PFB is going to get involved in the NIL space. I’ve always said no because directly paying someone we are covering is far from ideal ethically.
BUT
I recently got in contact with the folks at Pokes With A Purpose. They are doing a raffle that last until April 28 where entrants can win season tickets to different OSU sports, autographed items, a stay at the Atherton and more.
How does this benefit PFB? Well, we have a link. If you use our link to enter the raffle, we get a kickback from it.
It’s essentially just advertising PWAP is doing with PFB. We’re not paying student-athletes directly, we’re just a means for PWAP to raise funds.
