Absolutely love the way DT threw the gauntlet down. Hope Penn State accepts. Those two wrestling in GIA would be insane.

Cael is methodical and his method works. They don’t wrestle a tough noncon and I don’t see them changing that.
So for four years starting in 2017, Cael evidently respected John Smith enough to wrestle us. But now he has changed that and won’t do it. Is it because of David Taylor, leaving Penn State? He won’t come to national duals either. He gives the excuse that hey some of my guys might get injured. Wears me out.

Cael will make it worthwhile for him to do this. If it starts as a one off, he will want it at his house. National Duels is pretty much a home game for us. Big 10 schedule is indeed a tough schedule (but we currently wrestle two of the top three programs in it under Taylor and schedule the top ACC and Pac12 schools every year. We are not ducking our non-cons.). I can’t wait for this to happen, even if we lose it will be awesome for the sport and the Pokes. Love how Taylor is conducting himself in this situation. He’s the best.

Like most things in college sports now …if the $$$’s are right …regardless of source…it will happen and even Sanderson won’t be able to stand in the way! Maybe that’s the end goal anyway. Waiting till the $$’s come around
