There are (still!) many, many things to discuss.
Regarding being in a different conference from OU. I think it is a mistake. Look at the schools that have changed conferences and left rivals behind, which ones are actually thriving? Could be a lot of reasons for that, but even lopsided rivalries drive enthusiasm and attention. What games are Nebraska fans supposed to get extra excited for this year?
Even if Nebraska doesn’t have a good 2020, how much coverage is playing OU going to get in 2021? A ton. I’d almost guarantee Gameday in Norman for that.
If we go to the PAC, who are you going to most want to beat? I’d assume that switches the divisions to east and west. Is Colorado our premiere yearly opponent? Hard pass.
