Betting Odds Suggest Oklahoma State Football Has Nearly Perfect Schedule in 2026

There’s a mix of should-be wins, swing games and a few Goliaths.

Just waiting for all the Gundy lovers to come in here and tell us how this won’t happen without Gundy.

In a different thread 6 wins was very foreseeable? Someone mentioned CU is not even close to where they were - they were correct. If truth serum were applied for best case scenario:

@UH is significant. If D has coalesced and clear improvements seen then a W.

@ISU HCEM beat that coach last year. W

@KSU going in with an 8-1 record. CK will have the Cats ready (not sure what KSU lost but know they picked up 3 young men with chips on their shoulder). The key to beating the Cats is always physical, mistake free football, and some turnovers for good measure. Also, under Snyder (and no doubt now CK), hammer that QB. No cheap shots but hit the thighs hard every chance they can so that in the second half they lack strength. No guarantee for a W in Manhattan under a Snyder disciple.

TT Morris is two years behind TTs buildup but can learn from their mis-steps. How well will the players focus and rally against their coaches alma mater? Will the physicality of the KSU game hinder the D in this game?

@ASU their stud qb and rb are gone - if oSu is playing better than expected then odds are good for a W.

KU W.

9-3 is best case scenario. Bowl game W?

So based on the headline, 12-0? :sob: :joy: It’s a joke, chill! Plus bustin’ balls since I’m part paesan, lol.

RE @ISU do you remember the HC when we played S Dakota State? Same guy, Jimmy Rogers. I knew he’d go places. They should be average at best w/ all the studs off to Penn State. Seems like Rogers picked up a decent QB, but can’t remember who that is, and no, not thinking Flores although good luck to him except when we play ISU, without looking it up. Always tricky, for whatever reason, when we play them in Ames.

My overall thought on this article is “from your mouth to God’s ears”. Recognizing of course that God couldn’t care less….

I think that’s reasonable, plus or minus a game. Somewhere between 5 and 7 wins is probably right depending on how some close swing games go.

Found one.

Calling my shot here: We win all the “we should” games due to importing the #1 offense from last year ( we had an offense too once… that was an award winner the yar before… ) I think we beat Kansas and Kstate too. Those are end of the year games after some gel time. and hopefully injuries are low.

The Oregon game….. Everything about this game tells me we have nothing to lose. I do not believe we have the talent to brute force this win. What we do have, is the rowdiest, Boomiest, absolutely overwhelming fan section on the planet.

I’ve witnessed our fans take a game against Baylor with their amazing record, on a frozen night, and just make scoring and hearing impossible.

I think we beat Oregon. by surprise. We lost a silly one. 9-3 or 10-2, and yes, I’m crazy. but its the good kind.

I see 2 pretty much guaranteed Ls but the rest is very open for us to win. Think we get 8.

Uh oh. You’ve alerted @KetchupSicle

In all seriousness, I do think that’s a bit of fool’s gold. It was the #1 offense against G6 opponents. It’ll be better than the offense we had the last two years, but I’m not expecting us to have a 10-win worthy offense by any stretch.

I’m going with 7-5 as of right now. Offense will be much improved but still have questions about the defense:

Win: Tulsa, Murray State, West Virginia, UCF, Colorado, Iowa State, Kansas

Loss: Oregon, Houston, Kansas State, Texas Tech, Arizona State

This statement “Now, he is absolutely bringing some significant production with him, specifically on the offensive side of things” is pretty similar to this one “due to importing the #1 offense from last year” Man, I really had high hopes for you. But since thinking the Cowboys would play 5 straight road games to thinking your University was utilizing illegal hiring practices, …youve lost your way. Maybe just go sit out a few plays? Take a breath.

The Cowboys will be playing against one good defense in Tech. The rest that are on the 26 schedule were very bad in 25 (UCF, ASU, KState, KU, CU and WVU) lost everybody (Iowa St), or were middle of the road (Houston). They dont have to be the next coming of Weeden and Co. They just need to be able to produce against the defenses in this Conf, which outside of Tech on this schedule…arent very good.
