Big 12 Commissioner Brett Yormark to Vacate His Role

The Big 12 will begin the search for its next commissioner “immediately.”

I think Yormark was a good choice at the time. He kept the Big 12 from dissolving into the PAC 12. He has reached his ceiling (and probably lost interest) and it’s time for a new leader. I’m confident the Big 12 will find someone who can successfully navigate the next chapter of college athletics.

You think? We’ve had a lot of ineptness before Yormark, who I wasn’t a fan of simply because he worked for the JZ fellow who worships the Dark One. But Yormark has proven to be quite good IMO.

Dan Beebe and Bob Bowlsby were especially bad! Allowing discoTEX to rule the roost w/ their wack Nohorns Network caused Nebraska and A&M to leave. Colorado and Mizzo also as it was all directly related to the instability related to that! If Beebe had gotten proactive surely could’ve gotten the other members to boot UT out, probably could’ve saved the original conference, just needing to add one team, Houston was right there! Bowlsby was also rather useless.

Maybe we’ll get lucky and get a deputy commish of SEC or someone like that who believes in the conference and make it even better, but I could see the wheels falling off like a LandSquatters original mobile home and the conference dies in 10 years or even before…
