Need and NIL have shaped the philosophies college football programs.
Just for reference. Gundy’s portal ranking before the 2025 season was 35th, and his HS ranking was 52nd. I’m just really thankful we have a coaching staff that will get our offense past the 50 yard line a few times this season.

He really did NOT like to recruit.
Adding to his personality: a narcissistic pr__k with a cocky and arrogant demeanor. During his tenure he put OSU on the map and made very good, not great, strides moving forward. I am so glad he has moved on and very excited about this new staff and core of players.
