Dalton Cooper turned in an impressive 40 time.
One reason why we should’ve pulling linemen more on run plays.
Who cares how fast they can run? They can’t block and that is why none of them will be drafted. None.
You don’t think coaching and schemes were faulty which is one reason why we sucked?
I find it hard to believe they can’t block. Simply because they pretty much did the entire 2023 season. I think the 2024 season was a result of incompetent coaching, and the inability to adjust schemes way too far into the season. That’s always been an issue since Dunn has been around. Unless we have a mobile QB that can make you pay with his feet, and a scheme the is adjusted appropriately based on our personnel. You’re not going to get positive results.
Case in point here. Once they figured out how to stop OG there were no adjustments to the offense or running game until the 7th game of the season. By that time, it was already too late. We were also recruiting players that don’t fit the style of offense we want to play (especially at QB). We largely had no other running option outside of OG when Backfoot was still the starting QB. Sanders wasn’t great by any means, but at least you had to respect his ability to run and get you first downs.
Just
Pissing away talent this year huh?
The result of a Head Coach that is “checked out” and lacked motivation along with assistant coaches that aren’t that talented.
