I learn he is starting his 18th year soon.
Just signed a new contract too jugā¦. You stooges play enough cornhole for everyone
A sentence clause says all that needs to be said and itās very sad: āā¦but ESPN would have to give its blessing.ā

I want no part of the Stanford band. At 56, it would be embarrassing to me to read my name on the arrest docket for assaulting a ā ā ā ā tree;
-
Oregon? Isnāt that entire state a political dumpster fire? Pass.
-
Washington? Again, pass. They can keep Starbucks, too.
Western Carolina? I still chuckle at the Sooners scoring late in that game to win 76-0.
So, lets hear who youd like to add?
They are the same person. Hes just not tech savvy enough to realize hes not fooling anyone
Lol your tech savvy to know your a moron
Iām looking for Jay-Zās guy to make a splash. Something that nobody saw coming.
Thoughts: two schools that donāt NEED money (already flush) ā Tennessee and A&M. Tennessee needs to be relevant again and the Big 12 is a lot more likely to add āWāsā in the Volunteer column than an increasingly stacked SEC. A&M, meanwhile, could toss the biggest, baddest middle finger at those t-sippers in Austin ā not to mention the entire SEC, who they look as playing favorites with Alabama ā by returning to the Big 12.
That wild scenario aside, I like adding Arizona, ASU, Colorado and Utah.
I like how your think on the sec schools
Im not with on the az and Colorado deal. Utah yes.
How about we get noter dame
Unless itās the basketball team of course then SOS is most important
Thank goodness you admitted that itās a āwild scenarioā. Because there is zero chance anyone LEAVES the cash cow that is the SEC.
I think adding the 4 you mentioned does nothing positive for the Big 12. It dilutes your money that each program gets & simply is adding programs for the sake of adding programs. BYU-Utah becomes your marquee gameā¦ā¦ā¦& itās BYU-Utah. Thatās an extremely intriguing matchupā¦ā¦ā¦for a Thu night game. That type of Conf gives you nothing.
So theyāre trying to get wash and Oregon along with the mountain schools it seems .
Yeah maybe the new guy has some tricks and ideas up his sleeve . Wonder what schools
Heād try to rope in? Or maybe rule changes? Unlimited celebrations lol
That hire seems like we just hired a publicity agent and we kinda need that .
Iād also take Nebraska back in a heartbeat . Theyād fill our stadiums . Really though Memphis and Louisville . I want the big 12 to stretch from coast to coast so bad .
PHX is the 5th most populated city in the country. Denver is 19th.
No still donāt mean sheit.
Go look at how baby eyeballs are watching ASU/Ariz & Colorado. Rutgers is in a massive market too. Your market helpsā¦ā¦.if youāre watchable. You arenāt getting anything by adding those programs. Absolutely nothing
Fair enough.
Per this link, the proposed newcomers would rank this way in the Big 12 (per eyeballs watching):
Utah - 6th
Arizona State - 9th
Colorado - 12th
Arizona - 14th
@FreeDrop Yeahā¦ā¦.the best program youād bring inā¦ā¦HAS FEWER EYEBALLS THAN WASHINGTON ST. Like I saidā¦ā¦.those teams add nothing. There are 4 schools who have left for greener pastures (OU,TX, USC, UCLA). UCLA is easily the weakest of the 4. Itās also a program that most people donāt think real highly of, especially on this site. Iāve heard a bunch of you on here on the Arizona schools & Utah train. Go compare what UCLA brings to a Conf from a TV standpoint to what you get from those other 3. Itās not even close.
Youāre looking at things from a won-loss record, thatās NOT why they consider teams. Itās mostly about media market and Denver/Boulder/Colo Springs is a good thing. Compare that to Oregone (yawn) and UW (Seattle, not bad but geographically it stinks about as bad as Eugene).
