Hard to believe. You guys will agree that we’ve seen our share of disappointment as a fanbase but this #1 for me. We got lucky to beat arkansas or would be 2-5 and outside of friday those losses were not even close.
I’d love for someone in the media to ask coach gundy what happened? Did the players get worse? Did the coaches fail? Or did everyone else improve that much? And if that’s it then why did we not improve much at all and possibly regress? What a waisted opportinity at a very critical time. Shame.

It’s not hard for me to believe. There’s a reason I didn’t pick us to play for a conference title. Gundy has a history of doing less with more since 2011. I will say I didn’t expect us to be last though. I guess there’s a first for everything 
.
I actually think we need to miss a bowl game. Because Gundy isn’t going to get rid of any of our inept coaching if he makes a bowl game. Nobody will hold him accountable for a team that probably started the year off with a roster good enough to win the conference.
You can all be mad at me if you want. I don’t know how many more times AR, Jeff, and myself have to come on here and tell you how much coaching matters. When the commentators on TV have to tell the audience what the OC and DC should be doing, then you know you’ve got major coaching issues.
It’s a decision in my view. Gundy has a history of doing both things. He can sometimes do better than expected with the unknown. Also, he will find ways to do worse than expected with the known.
This season is a case of the latter, while last season was the total opposite. Gundy, since 2011 anyway, has been very inconsistent when it comes to expectations. I’m not talking about the fans that are happy for any bowl game. I’m talking about where national pundits predict them to be.
Last year was the product of getting lucky and barely getting by teams.

Utah and Oklahoma are making coaching changes because of underperformance.
Why is Chad Weiberg not discussing needed changes for OSU while they sit alone at the bottom of the B12 standings? Or perhaps Gundy will man-up and do this himself?

One upside of not making a bowl this year would be that it would give Gundy extra time to start the process of making staffing changes.
So our schemes are not fine?! Hmmm, doesn’t align with all those post-game press conferences.
I don’t really get firing someone midseason. No one is available to hire. It’s just making someone take the blame to get the heat off of yourself and look like you’re doing something. You’re not really expecting the interim guy to take the job. That almost never happens.

If only they gave trophies for that. Gundy would have 2 trophies that mattered.
