Would it be smart for the Big 12 to expand?
big XVI – Add USC, UCLA, Utah, Oregon, Oregon State, and BYU. That would bring in 6 teams and 3 rivalries.
The other Pac-12 schools may look into bringing in top teams from the mountain west to save relevant.
That would give us a conference stretching across all continental US timezones. With WVU as the only eastern member, wouldn’t you have to dump them?
If the SEC looks to expand, seems logical they would go after zero-u and/or texas. If that happens, we can forget about expanding the Big 12 and hope the PAC 12 will take us.
