Texas Tech is throwing around a lot of $’s these days there is no telling what is on the table

I’d like to sign him. I also would like to point out that his 800m of 2:27 and his 1600m of 5:45 are not competitive at all at any level, especially 6A. I ran track 40 years ago and had bests of 2:06 in the 800 and 4:54 in the 1600m and plenty of faster kids than me. It would appear that he is just going through the motions in the distance running. I will say, I could not come close to his 11.01 100m. Heck, I ran a 5:45 1600 as a freshman.

Track vs footy. It’s like if a Doberman or a Rottweiler is chasing ya, I don’t know about you, but I got flat 8.0 speed in the 100m with one of those on my tail. Plus the pads, some people lose speed due to those, some guys not so much. He has FOOTBALL speed.

I hope Braeden is good friends with Trey McGlothlin.

Yeah, was trading a few messages w/ a TTU fan about that, seems they have a T. Boone type alum who sold his company (energy related) for billions and he’s been giving his alma mater a lot of dough. Pretty sure he gave most, if not all, the money for them to get the Stanford softball pitcher who took them to the finals. One thing I just read, their new O-coordinator/play caller is the guy who coached Cameron Ward at Incarnate Word and Wazzu. Who knows how that’ll translate at TTU, but IW’s offense was nuts and Wazzu’s improved quite a bit that one season Ward was QB.

Agreed, I think he’s plenty fast whether on the gridiron or the 100m. I was just referencing that those distance times are not competitive and probably due to lack of interest not athleticism.

I’d like for him to come to OSU. I think if he’s looking to win the Big 12 conference he would probably be better off at K State.

Saw him play in person acouple times. He’s a bit bigger and a nice player but not really a difference maker. He’s star rating is about right.
