A look at David Taylor’s first lineup.
Powerful lineup for duals, but not sure about potential points at NCAA tournament. Could be a surprise finisher there because of the highly talented coaching staff we have.
I think we’re all eager to see a lineup totally made up from guys who DT recruits and pulls from portal in a few years from now.
This coaching staff has fire in their bellys.
I still have to get used to Gilman now as a Cowboy. He was a wrestler with a big mouth and rather paranoid about our guys maybe trying to injury him while he practiced on our mat.
Surprised that Cael Hughes is not in the lineup yet. Hard to believe that Witcraft won a wrestle off. Eager to learn what Cael does at Michigan State tournament. That event is new for the Cowboys. Hope no injuries there.
As you probably know Cael win the title at 133 in Michigan. Like you, I thought he was a shoo-in at 133. Maybe Reece did beat him in a wrestle off or maybe they are rewarding Reece for his years of work. Merrill also won at 197 and Jamison at 141. I believe they will probably redshirt Merrill but he is awfully good.
Putting it on the line now - I believe we finish third in the NCAA Championship!
