Another Cowboy is coming back for 2024.

This and gordon were after thoughts to me, we were told awhile back that they both had new nil deals.

Owens, Presley, Stribbling, Shettron, Ollie, the entire O-line… wouldn’t mind a reliable backup RB in the portal and we need another slot guy to go with Presley but if Rangel has learned anything the last 2 years and the defense takes a step forward in year two we have a chance to be salty.

We need the kid from Indiana. Be a back up rb but a serious return man.

Who was that rb that spelled Ollie during the championship ? He had some decent runs . We might have the committee behind Ollie rotating in and out . It would
Be nice but might be hard to recruit around Ollie .

This is freaking SWEET. He’s the best player on the team, imo. Gordon too, but nobody is more valuable than BP.

This is GREAT news!

Also saw a tweet from Collin Clay that made me think he was coming back…? Did I read too much into it?

Been waiting for him to confirm it. This is big for us, Presley is lights out for 1st downs and moving the ball. Great hands and they D can never get solid hits on him. Reason he hasn’t had injuries
We sure need to find a replacement close to him
Wonder what Lil P stats are :joy:

Ollie will be gone next year so we should be able to get a high rated RB

Freshman Sesi Vailahi out of Salt Lake City. I wouldn’t tell anyone to not go after the portal RB from Indiana, but I think Vailahi could be a big surprise. He doesn’t seem to have break away speed but he has wiggle and can make the first defender miss. Watching his High School highlights he reminds me of Jaylen Warren, which if he could replicate that would be a great addition to OSU.

Unfortunately, Jaden Nixon, with all his speed was usually downed by the first defender he met. I still appreciate his time with OSU and wish him the best with whichever team he joins.

Seems like a really great guy, excited he’s staying home!

Good, hopefully between now and the 2024 season the guy pretending to be an OC grows a brain, and gives him the ball more than twice in a game during the non conference.

Rangel learned a lot from the 2022 season. It’s not his fault he didn’t get to play and they decided to roll with a guy who has no pocket presence skills in six years of college football.

I know it sucks! And then all he did was help us win 10 games. But winning seasons are meaningless to some so poo on that! I wonder if you’ll finally shut up when Rangel is proven not to be the guy yet again next year…hmmm

Probably not, you’ll say Gundy shouldn’t have let his kid leave. He is the answer, yeah, thats the ticket…with Morgan Fairchild (Have to be an older SNL fan to get that last part, I’ll admit)

Kinda makes me wonder if Nixon is
Leaving bc of OG And SV . On top of as you mentioned not being able to get past that first point of contact .

Rangle this and Rangle that you have hung on his sack all year. I will bet he hits the portal ? Then you can cry that if only he hadn’t hit the portal we would be undefeated :joy:

Dunn? Yeah……after everyone in the state of Oklahoma told him it would be a good idea to give the ball to his two best offensive players, and whenever Gundy bails him out of his chitty first half play calling. Bowman’s proven to me he can throw just as many touchdowns as he can interceptions.

Kind of hard for him to prove himself when his coaches don’t put him on the field :man_shrugging:. Of course, we’ve always been excellent in the Gundy era of choosing the right QB. I’m sure Zach Robinson, Brandon Weeden, and Clint Chelf would agree :+1:.

Weird how Rangel developed pocket presence skills in a year, and Bowman hasn’t in six years. Wouldn’t you agree?

I’m not truly fond of either one joy but one did win 10 games for us
