Looking at other big rushing seasons to try to predict what’s possible for Hawkins in 2026.
I doubt Morris is going to pull a Gundy. Where Hawkins doesn’t get many carries against Tulsa or Murray State for the sake of “figuring things out”. The only way that happens is if those two games are already in the bag by halftime.
It’s pretty crazy that the Doak Walker winner was only given the ball 3 times against South Bama. I doubt we’ll be playing down to the level of our competition either. Can’t wait to begin the Eric Morris era
