In ‘17, Bedlam was for the Big 12 championship. We lost. Had we won, we would’ve gotten another Big 12 title.

I’ve never said we sucked. I’ve just said we tend to snatch defeat from the jaws of victory when it comes to a championship (more often than not). What I’m still waiting for is you to give a legitimate and reasonable explanation as to how we can do all this “winning” and yet worse programs are winning more conference titles than we are?
You know why you can’t? Because there is no reasonable excuse for it. If you’re going to make the claim that you’re the second best team in the conference. Then back it up with some kind of proof. Winning multiple games and only having one championship in the last 13 years doesn’t prove that statement to be true. Especially when Texas has sucked for a majority of that time. Washington and Oregon, Michigan and Ohio State, Alabama and Georgia, Clemson and Florida State all have more than one conference title in that span of time.

All those schools I named you keep bashing and saying they suck regardless of resources. That’s fair, but why do those teams have equal or more championships than us since 2011 if we’re so great? We can’t even win another one while a BB program was down for over a decade in our own conference, and OU hasn’t even been OU since 2019. This is what you guys do. Name excuses and issues that have little to no effect on how OSU has underperformed in the championship scenario since 2011. We should have at least three since then.

What is the ultimate factor there? And before you say NIL, that is still a fairly new integration. What about before NIL? What’s our excuse then?

They are. They haven’t been the same OU since Hurts was their QB. Grow a brain and do your research. They haven’t been trash? They had their worst record since 1998 in 2022 and had no problem making Gundy piss his entire pants in the first quarter. That’s all it took. Luckily for him they didn’t know how to hold onto the ball this past season.
