OSU would’ve made a 12-team Playoff last season.

I do feel sorry for uo not ever seeing the playoff again even with 12 teams.

They’ll probably see it more than we will still.

Sorry taking about your goons. Hope it didn’t hurt.

The only thing that concerns me about this expansion is the CFP committee massaging/manipulating the rankings in order to get more big brand names for the sake of ratings. Other than that, I’m good with it.

Like they do now?

I think this accelerates the move for Texas and OU to the SEC.

I don’t care about OU. I’m just stating that it’s likely the SEC will be putting 3-4 teams in the new playoff.

We have a logo too, right? So I don’t see where the problem is going to be.

Pretty much but now on a larger scale

Win your conference and you are in. Those creating the rankings can’t keep you out.

So basically we’re screwed if that’s what it comes down to?

We would have made it in last year under the new 12 team CFP rules.

I agree but now as long as you win your conference you’re in. For instance last year if Dez gets in and we win that game but looking as bad as we looked and Cincinnati rolling Houston, I’m not so sure we get in. Or if it came down between us and USC were losing that battle. They’re always going to manipulate to get who they want, at least now there’s a path for us to control our own destiny. We don’t have that with a 4 team playoff.
