OSU has the No. 25 class in the country.
Let’s get It!
Could be if we get all the kids that are warm on us.
Most likely it will go down the further into the year we get. I hope not though.
Admittedly I have criticized Gundy for years about the fact he didn’t recruit hard enough. Whenever he gets met with resistance from a big time player he folds his tent and moves on. However, he now has a big staff that is not afraid to dance with big time players. I tip my hat to whoever and whatever they are doing to put this class together. Maybe Mike doesn’t have to micromanage every offer that goes out anymore.
It’s so odd to see the fluctuations one year to the next. Keep it up guys ! Makes you wonder if we will have any good surprises this year ?
We got some kids last year that were highly underrated. Same this year too. Hope we keep them all and the sharks don’t come knocking. Nardo has been nails
Wait a minute. I thought you said if they leave OSU it’s because they’re not good enough? So which one is it Mr. Excuses?
It is usually the factor Mr Obvious, kids leave for more immediate playing time and more money. Gundy developed them and then take a hike for more money. I would hate to graduate and not have an Alma mater Mr Obvious ![]()
Is that what Spencer Sanders did?
Spencer got kicked off the team for demanding Kasey Dunn be fired and being overall awful in the locker room. Special case
Didn’t he collect a check down there too though ?
I’m sure he was offered some cabbage here too .
I’m sure they gave him something but they were his only option. His grades were so horrendous I think they were the only school that would accept him. I heard he initially tried to get out of the portal to stay at OSU but Gundy told him that he wasn’t going to play for OSU anymore.
I think you missed the point here. Mike is trying to tell me that when they leave OSU it’s for more money after Gundy HAS DEVELOPED THEM. If that were the case, then SS would’ve been starting and playing at Ole Miss. That tells me how far behind the curve we’ve become at the QB position, and the simple fact that Bowman was a third stringer at Michigan and now starts for us
. I could understand if we got a backup from a BB, but not a dude that’s snapped the ball 11 times in two years during garbage time.
Two 4 stars and and fourteen 3 stars?? Best class?
how long has gumby been here? That’s a funny joke! He’s cracking on Gumby lol. Yes could very well be
.
Well you are also leaving out Bowman’s time at TT . He did throw for a ton while he was there and I think has a single game record on the books at Texas tech .
Sanders was a nut case. He thought he was bigger than the program. Just to set the record straight Sander became a cancer to that team. I’ve always give him credit for giving his all. He was a tough guy. He thought he would miss all the bowl practices and decide to come back. Gundy told him he could but he wasn’t starting in the bowl game. He gets mad and thinks he will get lots of offers. As said his grades stink
Half the team was mad at his because of his antics like slipping out the night before bedlam 22 and got hammered. There is a lot more to his history people don’t know
So what? Don’t you think a “Tier 1” program should be able to snatch at least a second stringer from a BB program?
Three Star U!!!
What evidence do you have for this? Also, what does this have to do with Gundy developing players? You made the statement Gund develops them and they leave for more money. I want to know why that didn’t translate to Ole Miss? Remember, you made that statement, not me.
