Pretty important early season tournament for the Cowboys at the Cabo Collegiate starting this weekend. First of all, I hope it’s a safe place to be with all the ongoings in Mexico. Pray for safety!
Secondly, it’s a stacked field and the Cowboys have underwhelmed so far this season (and back into late last fall). Ethan Fang seems to be in a funk. Previously the #1 bag for the Pokes, he’ll be playing #5 this weekend. I would say Preston Stout has performed as expected and Gaven Lane has probably been the top performer so far. Eric Lee and FF-J need to step it up a little.
I have no idea the legitimacy, but both the US and Mexico released statements that both Cancun and Cabo are “fine” to travel too. Cartel hit puerto Vallarta because Mexican military and police could cover the area, and both Cancun and Cabo are covered. The ironic part is while they said both are save to visit for tourist destinations, it noted that travel to and from the airport could be risky. Which 100% of tourists would have to go through. lol
