There is definitely some reason for optimism, but will it translate to on-field success?
âThe Cowboys are 17.5-point underdogs at home to Oregon in week twoâ.
I imagine this wouldâve been 20-25 points higher with the same roster and coaching staff from last season.
I want to see two things in the non-conference part of the schedule
-
Go 2-1 and give Oregon a game
-
Go to Skelly Field in Tulsa, and put some belt to arse on the Golden Hurricanes after what their HC said this off season. Report: Tulsa Coach Tre Lamb Tells Tulsa Crowd âWeâll Beat Their Aâ Againâ in Reference to OSU
I agree that Tulsa needs to be disciplined severely for Coach Lamb running his mouth like that when our program was in disarray. Iâm just not sure Morris will reveal much if the game is in hand early because he doesnât want Oregon to know whatâs coming. Coach Lanning needs a good humbling, too, but Iâm not sure we will be good enough this year to teach him a lesson. jarrod is right; we need a good showing at Tulsa and then anything can happen at home (turnovers are always key) with our elite set of triplets at QB, WR and RB.
