I have inquired about the status of Taylor 184, Jamison 141/149 and Cael Hughes 133/141 and Sakamoto. After this tournament we now know Rinn is still on the team but how about the status of these other guys?

Figueroa should drop back down and challenge Spratley, it’s not working out for him at 133 for whatever reason.

I haven’t seen anything about any of those guys having left, but Hughes not being at this tourney is surprising. I hope his shoulder injury isn’t lingering.

I seem to remember seeing something about Tagen Jamison having a surgery in the summer and still recuperating. I have not heard anything about Cael Hughes. And not that anyone asked but Teague Travis has transferred to Mizzou and Carter Young has transferred to Maryland. Both will wrestle the second semester.

very happy for Ronnie at this tournament. Didn’t get to see his first two dominant wins but his last two wins were hard fought and showed his massive improvement in his top game he’s had even from just this summer. Never thought I would see him ride a top 15 guy out for a period but that’s what he had to do and did against Farber. And those mat returns! He slammed those UNI dudes!

Also, saw that Jersey Robb was set to wrestle at this tournament but then didn’t. Do any of you know what that happened?

Just looked at the OSU wrestling roster page and they have updated Teague Travis and Carter Young leaving the team. So it appears to be up to date. Cael Hughes, Jersey Robb, Brayden Thomas are all still on the roster.
