You have to feel sorry when a team has a bad day.
Playing Pine Bluff in this midweek series could possibly be the worst scheduling decision ever. Texas coming up this weekend riding a 14 game win streak and very good pitching. Absolutely nothing to gain from playing an opponent like Pine Bluff besides maybe adding a few points to your batting average. The pitching PB threw out there yesterday was atrocious. They had 17 walks thru 4 innings! In a baseball season of unknowns due to COVID I’m sure that’s what lead to the decision to play PB at this juncture of the season.
