Weeter is fresh off dropping 46 in an NCAA Tournament game.
This is a great pickup. I hope she does well for us. But what happened with all the portal defections? I though Hoyt was doing a great job of building a tight, cohesive, family-type atmosphere. And now, practically the whole team is out the door! Does anybody know why?

You are probably right. That’s a shame because that means the Cowgirls will continue to be a tournament team, but most likely only winning the first game. In other words, we have hit our ceiling because of available NIL money.

Can’t be very good to great in all sports. I’d rather be that in football, MBB, baseball, and softball. And I almost forgot, wrestling. If our WBB program gets to the tourney every season or so, that’s quite an accomplishment. I tend to think for here on out, due to NIL and the head coaches, it’s going to be programs like UConn, S. Carolina, discoTEX, LSU, etc who are gonna be fighting it out most of the time for a title.
