I really detest the system as it stands. Both the portal and the ridiculous levels of NIL money. The college game isn’t like it was. Used to be you could get excited about some heralded kid coming in as a freshmen and watch them grow.
It’s all in keeping with the immediate gratification nature of our society and particularly the youth.
Rant off.

Agree. We won’t have many of those fan favorite role players that hang around forever. Someone like Josh Cooper would’ve been handed a bag after his junior year.
