NIL is ruining CFB, no college athlete should be making anywhere close to 5 milll. It should’ve been capped for athletes and program. It’s the minor league of the NFL and NFL doesn’t have to drop a dime for it.

Ok, first off I want to say that I hate NIL and the portal as they are currently constructed. Having said that, the playing field in college football is as level as its ever been. Indiana, Texas Tech and Ole Miss have a legitimate chance to win the National Title simply due to NIL. The Oklahoma St’s of the world have a much better chance to get to the top of the mountain in the NIL era than they ever did without it. If this was pre NIL/portal, the rebuild at Oklahoma St would be a 2yr turnaround AT BEST. But now, the Cowboys could be in the hunt much quicker. The playoffs are great. I was in Norman last Fri for the playoff game and the atmosphere was more electric than anything ive ever been to, which includes the NBA Finals, National Championship game, Cowboys-Packers Playoffs in Lambeau. The inner workings of college football has issues…but itls also more popular today than its ever been and thats not changing. As for College being the minor league of the NFL…thats always been the case. This isnt new.
