Thanks for stopping by – here’s your daily dose of Oklahoma State sports news. Three Thoughts • OSU landed a couple of transfers in the portal who signed this week (Arizona State lineman and UTEP safety) – I think this was OSU hedging if Preston Wilson doesn’t return at right guard and replacing Trey Rucker at safety (PFB) • The quarterback matchup won’t be Brandon Weeden against Ryan Tannehill but two solid quarterbacks will play in Houston next week (PFB) • Seems like defensive line and wide receiver are a couple of the big holes left to fill via the transfer portal… or at least add a couple of impact players. (PFB) Two Quotes • This take on the significance of bowls is pretty good: These bowl games are more like a spring game before the spring game. I actually do think that one way to gauge this game and who might be the favorite is who has the team that has the most players that have something to prove? [TulsaWorld] •
Someone’s mamma let their baby grow up to be a Cowboy https://t.co/xIWuSgBbaU— RedditCFB (@RedditCFB) December 20, 2023 One Question • I’ve used this one already – but…
In reference to your Nick Martin comparison - I would say, of course QB. If we had a dual threat QB who could make all the throws and burn you with his feet would be the best case scenario…on another note: after attending many practices this Fall the real deal at QB is the kid from Nebraska! He may not have the exceptional speed I would want but he is our future in my opinion.
Seems like defensive line and wide receiver are a couple of the big holes left to fill via the transfer portal… or at least add a couple of impact players. (PFB) — Forgetting, like Gundy & co, unless they know something we don’t, about the RB position. One returner if Ollie skates.

The biggest hole that needs filled is head coach. Ridiculous that osu refuses to get better.
