OSU Bullets • GoPokes 247 had some solid thoughts on the quarterback room in a recent piece: I expect one of Zane Flores and Hauss Hejny to be good. Are either of them going to win the Heisman Trophy or make First Team All-Big 12? I don’t think so. But I think they both have the capabilities to be decent, good quarterbacks for an Oklahoma State football program that is in a rebuilding stage. Throwing for 3,000 yards, limiting turnovers and providing a viable option in the run game should be enough for the Cowboys to stay afloat. All elite programs recruit high school talent at a high level and use the portal to patch holes. RE QBs, we all should hope Flores wins the job and plays well. I think if he loses he’s out after this season. Hejny has wheels, but can he make all the throws? Guess we might find out…
