Last year, Steele had Baylor and Utah playing for the Big 12 title and Texas Tech and BYU (the ones who actually played for it) finishing 5th and 8th respectively.
That’s why I don’t take any preseason rankings, polls, etc seriously. It’s simply filler to kill time while waiting for the season to start.
