I do think in time, Gundy will added to the Ring of Honor and gets a statue. At the earliest, it would be about five years (ROH would be first).

I’m not sure what the article says but the tenor seems to imply that just because he’s over 40, doesn’t mean he’s a man? Is the article critical because Mike doesn’t want to thank fans for the support all those years he DID earn his pay.
BTW, It wasn’t the fans fault he resisted the changing landscape of college athletics, even if the new landscape is contemptable. So then, age, ability to curse, road-rage, rudeness: none are an accurate indicator of maturity or manhood or strength.
I like the way Micah said it: “He hath shewed thee, O man, what is good; and what doth the LORD require of thee, but to do justly, and to love mercy, and to walk humbly with thy God?” I always thought part of the Cowboy Way included humility so hopefully Mike comes around.

I’m a hard no on the statue thing. Ring of Honor sure. But he is not statue material. Not even close.
