Most sports one player can’t make a difference like a softball pitcher. Softball, basketball (maybe, but you’ll need more than one piece), and maybe wrestling and wrestling if your team is on the cusp. As much as I would love to see football go all in, I think the hill is too high to climb against the ESPN funded SEC and Big 10. I wouldn’t mind taking Tech’s approach and let our “smaller” sports help bring up our bigger sports (even if it’s getting our name out there by winning smaller sports: ie Gold and Wrestling this year).

Tech’s approach has been to have a well funded collective (The Matador Club) and throw money around. That’s why they have one of the best ranked portal classes coming in football and why they have their star pitcher in softball coming back for another year.
Also, the Big 10 is FOX Sports funded but your point was made.
I was think they were FOX funded but didn’t want to take the time to look it while typing.
