Thanks for stopping by - here’s your daily dose of Oklahoma State sports news.

Cowboy golf team couldn’t catch third-ranked Arizona State, but they gave it a good run – besting the Sun Devils in the final round by four shots.

What OSU did do is beat top-ranked Ole Miss by 37 shots!

This team is settling in nicely with two consistent, top performers in Ethan Fang and Preston Stout. Stout finished -7 and tied for second individually. Fang was one stroke back.

The trio of Eric Lee, Filip Fahlberg-Johnsson and Gaven Lane have provided plenty of spark at times. FF-J was six-over after one hole in Cabo, but grinded out the remaining 53 holes in two-under. Lane struggled each of the first two rounds, but finished with a one-under 70. And Lee is solidified as the #3 bag.

The Pokes should climb again when the next poll comes out. In their last four outings, they’ve won two times and finished runner-up twice.

So now we know when the next cycle of conference re-alignment will occur. Regardless of who’s coaching, I hope we’re not still floundering at the bottom of the conference in FB or BB, or we’re not getting an invite to the adult table.
