Thanks for stopping by - here’s your daily dose of Oklahoma State sports news.
That revised lottery odds doesnt make any sense. The worst teams have less than chances than teams 4-10? I realize that teams are tanking is a problem, but why give teams 1-3 worst chances when all you have to do is give them the same chances? If the worst team and the 10th worst team have the same chances at the #1 pick then that eliminates tanking among the bottom ten teams. How can this not be obvious?
I agree Chris. Why not just give every non-playoff team an equal %, and then add the peripheral rules like, can’t pick in the top 3 for consecutive years, or the sum of consecutive years of picks must be equal or greater than 6 (meaning if you got a #1, then the best you could have the next year is a 5), and finally change the draft protection rules to be lottery only, and not related to the specific lottery slot (aka top-10 or top-6 protected).

Adam Silver is a complete moron.
Yes, those kind of ideas are valid. What they will create is teams attempting to get in that 4-10 which does eliminate tanking but it penalizes the truly bad teams that cannot reach the 4th slot.

The road to redemption has begun, at least for me. It was cool to see Mike Gundy in this capacity
I think he should go the route being a college football analyst on TV. He would be a great fit for TNT, who’s getting more involved with the Big 12.
Man, if that’s how you want to take it, but this is journalism. It might be sports journalism, but if you want to be taken seriously, you shouldn’t be rife with typos and you should at least check the spelling on names, especially well-known names. I popped it in here so maybe they’d see it and fix it.
