I don’t understand closing the portal in the spring…players will just announce they are transferring on social media and the process, although more clunky will go on.

I’m all for having one transfer portal window, but having it in January while the playoff is going on is dumb. For me, they should’ve eliminated the winter portal window and kept the one in April, when it’s the off season and spring practice is completed.
