That’s a good point. What would the estimated capacity of an upper deck? Would it increase the stadium by 10,000? 15,000?
OSU could sell a lot more season tickets.
However, if they can’t or OSU hovers around 7-5 or even 8-4 how many empty seats would there be? I always cringe when I see a game on TV and the stands are sparse….

Absolutely not. We don’t have that kind of fan base. Learn the lesson of GIA. It is too big and has to be curtained off most of the time. Better to sell out every game than have empty seats half the time. Put the money into the players NIL and the athletic amenities and training opportunities.

You would need to significantly increase the student enrollment for at least the next decade and be good at football the entire time to even think about doing this. I would like to see the stadium bowled in over by GIA at some point that add maybe a few seats where you can actually see the field. Would mainly want it done to prevent any sound escaping from the openings.
