Billy the sdsu was power rated 19 last year, if they run thur the fcs they will be a top 25 team. The key word team. The year we played miami the had the most draft in the last 5 years.

Nardo’s defense did figure enough out in the 2nd half. Better, but not where it needs to be. Dunn was meh, but a large part of that is Bowman not executing. Arkansas stacked the box and dared us to throw. Bowman was very good and very bad at times. Everyone will do this until we prove our passing will tear them up if they do. Bowman must find and connect with wide open guys. Dickey’s line didn’t generate much rushing until late when they pulled guys into coverage, but they did a stellar job at pass protection and giving Bowman clean pockets and time. You told me they had this 500 pound 1st rounder on the edge. He wasn’t much of a factor in the pass rush.

Bowman did connect with guys and they would drop the football. How is that Bowman’s fault? I agree he wasn’t great, but his receivers at times also acted like they greased their fingers with butter.
Dickey’s line didn’t generate much rushing against South Dakota State either. You’re still trying to justify bad OL play in the first two games of the season. I don’t think we had a single run over 10 yards if I’m not mistaken. They’re going to need to be a hell of a lot better than that.
