It will be interesting to see if DT can secure the type of money that it will take to land Bassett. He could be the linchpin to really get this thing rolling again.

Sounds like Bo likes us, we get him and Lockett both that’s two hammers. Build around them cause they should draw more highly rated kids

Bassett is a great wrestler and has the potential to be the kind of athlete like Taylor, Dake, or Snyder, but I do not like throwing around terms like “generational recruit.” OSU has had many “generational” talents come through over the years. Sometimes they pan out, sometimes they don’t. Injuries happen. Burnout happens. Behavioral and academic problems happen. Ferrari was a “generational” recruit, too. How did that turn out? Maybe pump the brakes a bit.
Also, there’s not even 80 D1 teams–so basically his first list of schools was every wrestling school in the US.
