Depth Chart Projection: Breaking Down Oklahoma State's Offense Entering Fall Camp

He dropped the mullet and now has the ugliest beard in Murica, hah hah.

It’s hard to improve your footwork when you’re constantly having the opposing defense in your backfield from a four man rush once the ball is snapped.

Nice excuse…talking about when he has time to throw. Go look at some film, has a bad habit of getting up on his toes.

He’ll hit the portal and go to Texas State or some place like that.

I’m sure he does. Just saying the consistent piss poor OL play since he got to campus doesn’t help.

Good reminder on Rangel getting thumped. Gunnar had surgery before the bowl game so couldn’t go.
Running QB’s sure are fun to watch - Sander, Walsh, Chelf, Z Rob - but sure hope we get out of the QB Hero requirement.

Not sure that Sanders upside as a passer was there to be coached and our OL never game him much opportunity to develop, if he was willing.
Shiny Penny hasn’t played much in a loooong time. The two games he “torched” OSU one was a blowout for Tech in all 3 phases and the second OSU lead by 2-3 scores for most of the game. Second game Shiny Penny missed multiple throws and the yards all came in 2H with D playing containment. Still a great narrative for the hero myth.

We’ll see on Rangel. He didn’t F up much as a true Freshman last year, nearly as much as the OL. Will be fun to see how he does without a jail break blitz and 7-8 man coverages every play.

That’s funny. Gundy said Gunnar had improved to a 4.5 and Rangel 4.6 with Glass and company.
Regardless Rangel didn’t get run down very often if the OLine at least bumped the rushers.

Who else on the team sucks and is wasting a scholarship for us?

Very true. Spencer was a good player for us but could’ve been great w/ even an O-line above average and better coaching! True to Corndog too though.

If you have a great defense, okay OL, and decent running game you don’t need a QB Hero requirement. The 2021 season was evidence for that. If our D could just be as solid as ISU has been consistently, and the OL open up some kind of hole for the running back then you’re not forced to be a gun slinger against 7-8 man coverages.

For all the flaws Sanders did have it was really evident last season that he was the X-factor of our offense. He was our best running threat, and he had the best ability of everyone on our offensive roster to evade defenders (except probably Presley). Even with a hurt shoulder he would still show he could make good plays.
