I’m not concerned about Mestemaker’s ability to handle criticism. I’m worried about the offensive line’s inability to protect or open holes, which isn’t something we’ve really seen be fixed mid-season.
It’s also interesting that Morris chalked some mistakes up to excitement. I didn’t see an excited team. I saw a lackadaisical team.

What’s also going to be key is not killing offensive momentum, better play calling, being disciplined, and not going for it from your own 30 yard line multiple times giving the other team great field position like you’re playing CF 27.
I can agree the players didn’t execute as much as we’d like. However, they certainly did get any help from the coaching staff either. Not only did Morris and co. get outcoached, they actually outcoached themselves. Consider giving Hawkins the ball about 10-12 more times than what they gave him on Saturday.
